In exciting news, with the Summer months just around the corner and the spate of Christmas and New Year celebrations creeping closer, it’s the right time for a new Champagne cuvée to launch in Australia.
Champagne Tsarine, from the world’s second oldest Champagne house Chanoine Frères, has launched its most glamorous bottle yet to the Australian market – the Golden Tsarine by Adriana.
The composition is 34% Chardonnay, 33% Meunier and 33% Pinot Noir with dazzling bright amber-tasting notes in the fine bubbles. Delicate aromas of peach and brioche also mingle with subtle notes of orange blossom, giving this cuvée a beautifully expressive flavour. Delightful on the palate, it develops into a delicious fruit jelly aroma and notes of ginger - the finish is rich and wonderfully lively.
The gold bottle is being made available in Australia for the first time crafted with opulence in mind - a statement piece.
With its own compelling history, the new cuvée is named in recognition of an incredible story in which the Chanoine brothers travelled to the Russian Imperial courts to try to sell their wines – and after many months, Elisabeth the First, Tsarine of Russia, tasted and bought the first bottles.
Champagne Tsarine’s distinctive and stunning bottle also pays homage to this tale, representing both the buildings of Russia and the powerful women of the time.
RRP: Tsarine by Adriana $199, Tsarine Premium NV $62.99, Tsarine Rose NV $64.99
