A few words from Peranakan Place

Babi Pongteh: belly pork and trotters, with chestnuts and shiitake mushrooms, slowly stewed with fragrant spices.

Inspired by the authentic tastes of Nonya cuisine and the street food favourites of Singapore and Malaysia is Peranakan Place restaurant tucked into Auburn's Parramatta Road. Inside, an earthy interior of chocolate brown and deep red-purple tones creates a moody ambience that is well suited to smart casual dining, complemented by sculptures, intricate artwork adorning the walls and shelves of decorative crockery that add an exotic vibe. The gastronomy at Peranakan Place draws on the rich culinary fusion of Malay and Chinese cuisine spanning back to the 15th Century, incorporating tangy spices and aromatic herbal notes. Surprise your taste buds with a delicious dish like traditional Teochew duck, braised with spices, deboned and served on a bed of cucumber, bean curd and boiled eggs.

Authentic Nyonya Food
Love the food at this place. The authenticity tastes so much like Singaporean and Malaysian food at those countries. I'm constantly bringing people back to this place to try the various food. My personal favorite is the hainanese boneless chicken. Highly recommend this place for anyone interested in a south east asian dining experience.
