About Cutler & Co. Dining Room
There’s a sense of industrial eeriness meets underground glam at Cutler & Co. in Fitzroy. Past wallpaper prints and paint jobs have been scrubbed away to reveal stripped brick walls. Peculiar but funky looking lights create an ambience that is cool and secretive, somewhat Gotham City. Dark deep timber floors are the stage for the simply arranged tables in the dimly lit dining room. The menu may include: sashimi of King salmon, cuttlefish, cucumber and horseradish snow; or grass-fed beef strip loin, braised short rib, cauliflower and onion.

A Definite Must Dine Place in Melbourne
This is a bit of a late review...my partner and I dined here in January 2017 and Cutler & Co is now my favourite place to dine when in Melbourne and, certainly, in my Top 5 best ever places I've ever dined! We sat at the kitchen bar and it was such a treat watching your food come together. Their a la carte menu has since changed from when we were there in January so I can't tell you what they were - I have photos of them! Their wine collection is equally amazing! It is certainly very deserving of the 2 Chef Hats it currently has...and compared to some of the 3-hatted restaurants I've been to...it most certainly deserves a 3.
A group of four of us had dinner and it was lovely. The food was spectacular, the service was faultless and the setting was relaxed and inviting. A great experience
Good food and great service... Keep on the good work..
Well done to CUTLER & CO. for supporting the Eat Street @ Sofitel Melbourne.
Great service and food!
Cutler and Co is an interesting space. The food is delicious but does not really deliver the WOW factor. I had the slow cooked chicken breast which came with a delicious pot of peas and lettuce. The chicken was tender and juicy and had lovely flavour. A good, but not a great dish. Dessert was fantastic as I marvelled at the Ice cream Sandwich. The salted caramel component was do lovely. Service was a little too intense for my liking. The waiter was on the officious side and at times was far too familiar with some of the party at the table. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, however, probably not likely to get a return visit in a city that has numerous great restaurants that are yet to be investigated.
Great service, the place has a classy cool feel. Everything was very well cooked and tasted amazing, loved the violet ice-cream!
Simply amazing in every way! Violet ice cream was wonderful.
As always Andrew’s food speaks volumes. The service is great and the night will come to a close and you won’t want to go home.
