Mulled Wine



Mulled Wine

Ingredients

350 ml port
750 ml red wine
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 navel oranges, cut into rounds
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbs cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Cinnamon sticks, for garnish

Method

Place all ingredients except for oranges in top of double boiler. Heat for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Place orange rounds in each preheated mug and top with wine (strain beforehand if desired).

Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
