About Meredith Hotel
Experience great old-fashioned hospitality and quality pub fare with flair at the Meredith Hotel on Staughton Street in Meredith. Chat with locals in the public bar while sipping local beer and wine, then pull up a seat in front of the roaring open fire in chilly months with a glass of red and peruse a menu sure to impress all palates. Perhaps toe tap to live music while delving into gourmet pasta plates like fettuccine carbonara with bacon, mushrooms, poached chicken, spinach, garlic cream and grana Padano; or crumbed lamb cutlets with mashed potato, seasonal vegetables and gravy. Classic parmas get the Meredith makeover with choices like the Farmer’s Wife – salami, chorizo, bacon, Napoli and cheese - finish indulgently with a dessert of deep-fried ice cream and salted caramel sauce.

A truelly hidden gem
Wow. Is all I can say, from the moment we walked in door and was greeted by the staff to the time we left.
Service was A1, they have there own beer on tap and in can. Open fire places to create that country feel.
Food was on point with a different point of view offering your pub classics but also have a upper-class chef board that changes daily so I'm told by our waiter. This particular day they had oysters, wagyu 9+, eye fillet Mignon fresh fish.
Would highly recommend the drive out to Meredith it is situated up a side street towards Mt mercer before the trainlines. The place was booked out so I'd say for next time we should book.
Amazing food , friendly atmosphere and great service. the perfect place to take the family for a meal or even just to chill and have a few coldies.
Highly recommend giving it a go, the chefs creations are absolutely fantastic.
Do yourself a favour and get out there.
