'Everything on top'
Voted to be among the Top 8 eateries in Sydney's inner-west Glebe by one one of our 'fave' guides (the AGFG), this place is located at the centre of buzzling Glebe Point Road and has free parking across the street. The very Italian and very welcoming staff made us comfortable; set in an almost romantic surrounding with 'just right' lighting. We started this pleasant evening with Prawns Napoletana cooked in delectable chili and garlic sauce, which matched perfectly well with classic Italian bread made freshly (for dipping; and a bit of fighting as to who gets to have the last piece!) This was followed by a satisfying plate of Penne Boscoiala and a pizza appropriately described as 'everything on top'. This means, pineapple too! This also gave us room for a culinary deliberation on whether Italian pizza should have pineapple (me) or should not (him). In the end, Pizza e Vino's simply delivered a satisfactory pizza. (I won btw) The exquisite and romantic dinner was rounded up with an enchanting traditional Tiramisu. This is a 'you cannot go wrong kind of place' . Well done and grazie for the limoncello.
