We recently spent seven weeks at Yowah Caravan Park which is under the new management of Georgina and Colin.
We can't speak highly enough of the service, they bend over backwards to be helpful. The shop has been transformed, as have the artesian water baths, ablution block and cabins.Improvements are ongoing.
Remember though, that this is the Outback, not the Gold Coast, so don't expect 5 star accommodation.
Part of the attraction of Yowah is that it is so quiet and peaceful (no pub), like a small town of 50 years ago where people don't have to lock their doors and it is safe to walk the streets at night. We love it and have been spending the winters there for 10 years. The opals you can find in Yowah fossicking fields are a bonus!
