ParkSide Stay

Whilst in Melbourne I stayed at ParkSide Stay in Clifton Hill, Melbourne. Not knowing Melbourne well (being a German tourist) I didnt know the area of Clifton Hill where ParkSide Stay is located. My worst fears of the unknown were quickly changed. It was a great area to stay and explore Melbourne. There is fabulous public transport close by, trains and trams and the city CBD is very close to the apartment. Clifton Hill is an interesting city suburb....Queens Pde the local shopping precinct has an interesting array of shops and eateries. The apartment was very comfortable and I enjoyed very much the experience of staying in a modern, well furnished apartment. The King size bed was super comfortable and the living area was delightful as it looks out to an enclosed private courtyard garden which I enjoyed eating my breakfast in. Wendy the host was friendly and provided us with a lot of local information which made our stay even more enjoyable. I loved being able to walk to so many excellent bars, music venues and restaurants......Melbourne I had been told was famous for its restaurants and cafes and ParkSide Stay is well located to all of Melbourne's wonderful attractions. I hope to visit Melbourne again and will certainly be staying at Wendys Home, ParkSide Stay. I highly recommend this apartment to those travelling to Melbourne!

This place is a rare find, one of Melbourne's best kept secrets, specially for those travelling with their dog. Wendy's dog walking and minding service is indespensible as plenty of places will allow your dog to stay, but it has to go with you when you go out which means finding a minder somewhere around town when you have things to do which is massively stressful. I love the spaciousness and elegance of Parkside and its proximity to the city. I get my Mebourne fix and my cocker spaniel gets to frolic in the parklands right next door either with me or with Wendy when I go out. She loves Wendy and revels in her holidays here. It is great value and has become our home-away-from-home in Melbourne. Wendy is always welcoming and helpful. Parking is easy, wifi works well and we can always get a nice breakfast basket left for us when we are short of time and always enjoy the ambience of Wendy's artistically decorated accommodation. Can't wait to come back!

Wendy was amazing! My housemate, my dog and I had to evacuate our home due to a bushfire last February. It was late in the afternoon and after being caught out with the dog Max, a pair of shorts and thongs and no clothes or supplies for work the next day I rang Wendy for some help. She was so accommodating. We shopped at the local Kmart and Coles and bought food, toiletries and clothes for the next day. The park next door was great to walk Max and to calm our nerves, not knowing if we would have a home to go to the next day. The house was fine when we returned the next day and we got to work without any major issues. Wendy was a part of this... yes, the light in the shower stays on and the shower tap was a bit confusing, but we slept safe and in comfort. I have kept Wendy's details on my phone in case I have to evacuate this year. Hopefully she will let me bring my cat if necessary!!!

Had a wonderful time going to all sights in melb from here. Dog loved it too, lots of park to use close by. Real value for money.

I travel a lot for work and I was sick of staying in bland hotels so I thought I'd give this place a try! I was not disappointed, Wendy, the property owner was kind and welcoming and did everything possible to ensure I was comfortable! The unit is pet friendly, clean and well equipped with all the comforts of a hotel but none of the blandness. Also, free TimTams! Thanks for making my week at work lovely! :)
