Diving on the Bass Strait Islands

Tasmania's many shipwrecks, diverse marine life and colourful coral has attracted many people over to the Bass Strait Islands, diving a particularly popular activity to discover the surrounding waters of both King and Flinders Island. Whitemark on Flinders is a hotspot to dive and catch the rock lobsters, making their home amongst the shallow rocky reefs, with King Island offering more than 70 diving spots along its coastline. Goose Island and Maria Island are often part of diving tours, largely offered from Flinders and King Island.
