About El Dorado Museum
A reflection of the life and times from 1850-1950, the El Dorado Museum contains a vast collection of mining, farming and social history. Situated in the original school house No.246, dating back to 1870, the school rooms and out-sheds of El Dorado Museum house a variety of objects, including gold and mining relics, war memorabilia, domestic appliances and agricultural implements that all contributed to a past way of living.
