About Lamington National Park
A UNESCO World Heritage area worthy of a day trip in itself, Lamington National Park is a lush paradise that lies at the slopes of the Gold Coast Hinterland. Well preserved ancient trees, sub-tropical rainforest plant life and spectacular waterfalls are situated throughout Lamington National Park, best discovered by taking to the many walking tracks within. Comprised of two sections; Binna Burra and Green Mountains, this park stretches to 20,600 hectares in size, big enough to spend a few days wandering if you care to camp.
