Nesting in the sand dunes of Mon Repos Beach between November and March each year, the Loggerhead, Green & Flatback turtles are a main attraction for those exploring in and around Bundaberg and Coral Country. These special visitors make for an inspiring trip to Mon Repos, making it the largest Loggerhead turtle rookery in the South Pacific. During the day, explore the Mon Repos waters by swimming and sailing, taking care not to disturb the turtle eggs and of an evening, take a nightly tour where you might be lucky enough to witness the turtles laying their eggs or hatchlings emerge from their nests.
