Monarto Zoo

An open range animal sanctuary, Monarto Zoo undertakes a major national and international role for the breeding and preservation of rare and endangered animals. Observe the animals from the many viewing platforms around the zoo, interact with the animals and learn about their habits at the many keeper presentations and make sure to take a trip to the award winning visitors centre. Be sure to take at least 4-5 hours to explore the grounds of Monarto Zoo, making use of the shuttle buses between viewing platforms and walking trails.
