About Mount Remarkable National Park
There's a reason for it's name - and we like to think it's because it is truly remarkable. Mount Remarkable National Park is situated in the Southern Flinders Ranges, offering a splendor of diverse landscapes, native wildlife and camping grounds. By day, enjoy trekking through the parks walking trails - including the famous Heysen Trail - before an afternoon dip in the creeks and an evening around the campfire. Whilst at Mount Remarkable National Park, be sure to keep an eye out for some native critters, including emus, wallabies and echidnas often spotted meandering around the grounds.
