Murray River

The third longest navigavle river in the world, the Murray River spans three states, supporting abundant wildlife and home of the famous Murray cod. The Murray is a sportsground for water skiers and a highway for five paddle steamers and many river-boats, leisurely cruising past some of Victoria's jaw dropping beauty and contrasting landscapes. Captain your own boat, go for a day's fishing or paddle through Kings Billabong in a canoe or, if you're after a little Murray River adventure, try waterskiing on the wider sections of the waterway.
