About Old Police Station Museum
Dating back to 1850, the Old Police Station Museum was Clare's first police station and courthouse. Now listed as park of South Australia's National Trust, the Old Police Station Museum is a long standing reminder of the region's past, now housing a large collection of furniture and clothing dating back to the Victorian era, alongside photographs and memorabilia of early Clare. Opposite the Old Police Station Museum is Wolta Wolta, an historic house, damaged in the 1983 Ash Wednesday fires, now restored and housing art and antiques.
