Queen's Park is a favourite for kids for generations. The old steam engine has been there since at least the 50s and the trees around it for longer. The play areas are active, shady and suitable for a range of ages and there's plenty of space to walk, jog and take the dog (on lead). There's open fields for sport and events, treed areas and the Botanic Gardens which is beautiful when planted up for spring. Of course, it is not recommended at dark.
