About Sand Sculpting Frankston Waterfront
Gather the family, head down to Frankston Waterfront and find Sand Sculpting Australia’s latest sand sculpting exhibition, ‘A Day at the Zoo.’ Take time to wander around more than 3,500 tonnes of sand, transformed into detailed artworks of popular zoo animals and a few unexpected surprises. Stop and admire the work of 20 talented sculptors, discovering animals like monkeys, giraffes, elephants and lions and a mythical creature or two resting peacefully and observing visitors as they come and go, up until April 25th. Make a day of the exhibition by getting involved with event activities, or simply sit back for a bite to eat and a refreshing drink at the undercover café as the kids experiment with their own designs in a giant sandpit, explore a huge Lego play zone and try out the diggers.
