About South Australian Maritime Museum
One of Australia's greatest nautical collections, the South Australian Maritime Museum celebrates the human history and endeavors of our oceans and rivers. With artifacts dating back to 1872, the SA Maritime museum preserves the oldest nautical collection in Australia, from the Port Adelaide Lighthouse of 1869 to bathing costumes, shipwreck remnants, paintings, models and vessels. With a collection of over 20,000 objects and over 20,000 images to explore, amongst special events like the dolphin festival and titanic voyager exhibitions, the South Australian Maritime Museum will keep all ages entertained.
