About Waterfront Geelong
You can't go to Geelong without a trip to the waterfront; one of the area's most prominent tourist and recreational areas to explore, indulge and adventure. Once part of the Port of Geelong before its redevelopment in the 1990's, Waterfront Geelong is now a hive of activity, providing a range of tourism, entertainment and accommodation services. Take a trek down Cunningham Pier for a delicious food indulgence before heading to Steampacket Quay to take to the water on a ferry or seaplane ride. The Carousel Pavilion is a must for the kids, housing a steam driven carousel, circa 1832.
