About Silo Bakery
Silo produces the finest bread and pastries in the Canberra region. Bread is produced with long, cool fermentation resulting in more complex flavours. The styles include the Silo sourdough (a light rye), Kingston sourdough (white), vollkornbrot, baguette and two Italian style breads, the casalinga and stirato. Pastries, tarts and croissants are also made on-premises daily until sold out. Festive treats (puddings, mince pies, stollen, hot cross buns) are made for the Christmas and Easter seasons. Coffees using locally roasted Cosmorex coffee and teas sourced by Larsen & Thompson are available all day, as are fresh juices and sandwiches.
