The Snowy Store - Talbingo Supermarket

The only reason to drop in to Talbingo
My partner and I have stopped off at Talbingo a few times over the past couple of years. The only place we were made to feel really welcome was The Snowy Store. The owners there are the loveliest people. The coffee they serve is the best we've tasted outside of Melbourne. The lady there makes her own pies - I had the corned beef, cauliflower and white sauce pie. She's always coming up with new pie recipes.
It's amazing that they've kept going after all of the troubles since they took over. They've had to contend with bush fire, Covid, and losing the nearby ski resort. If you're in the area, call in and show them some love. It's battlers like these guys that keep small towns alive.
