125mL water
2g fresh or dry yeast
1 pinch of sugar
1 tsp salt
20mL EVO
200g plain flour
Pizza toppings of your choice
Add yeast, sugar and olive oil to warm water. Leave to rest for 10 minutes.
Place flour into a mixing bowl, and add the salt.
Slowly add the water/yeast mixture to the flour, folding them together until you have a lovely dough.
Make the dough into a ball and pour a little drizzle of olive oil over the top.
Place a wet towel over the bowl and leave to rest for 20 minutes.
Pat or roll the dough ball into a pizza shape.
Carefully spoon on some tomato paste or drizzle with olive oil if you prefer an olive oil-based pizza.
Top with your favourite pizza toppings.
When you are ready, place your pizza in a really hot oven on 200 C for 20 minutes.
** The key to cooking pizza is to have the oven really hot, so we recommend giving this plenty of time to heat before you are ready to cook your pizza.
