For the Spiced Butter:
¼ cup Butter
1 cup Brown Sugar
½ Tbs Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon cloves
For the Mulled Cider:
4 cups Apple Cider
2 Tbs brown sugar
1 Cinnamon Stick
¼ tsp Nutmeg
¼ tsp Cardamon
5 Whole Cloves
Zest of 1 Orange
Rum
For the Spiced Butter:
Mix all ingredients in a mixer. Wrap the spiced butter into plastic and form into a log. Refrigerate until ready to use.
For the Mulled Cider:
Boil the Apple Cider and all the spices, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes. Strain the spices and orange peel. Serve one shot (30ml) of rum in each glass and top off with the mulled cider.
Serve with spiced butter and apple slices. Enjoy!
