Lavender Simple Syrup:
1 cup water
3 Tbs fresh or dried lavender flowers
2 cups sugar
Margarita:
60mL Tequila (we suggest Arette Blanco)
15mL Cointreau Liqueur
30mL Lavender Simple Syrup
Juice of 1/2 Lime
Sugar
Dried Lavender
Lavender Simple Syrup:
Bring the lavender and water to boil.
Stir in sugar until dissolved.
Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Allow to cool and steep for at least an hour.
Strain out the lavender flowers and pour into a bottle to keep in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Margarita:
On a plate, mix sugar and dried lavender and use it to rim the outside of a glass.
Fill the glass with ice.
Place all ingredients into a shaker and shake for about 35 seconds.
Strain into glass.
