Slow-cooker Pork Chops and Peaches



Ingredients

4 pork chops
Pinch salt
4 Tbs butter
2 onions, peeled and sliced
4 peaches, pitted and sliced
10 g thyme
5 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
1/4 cup plus 2 tsp whisky

Method

Season the pork chops with salt. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a non-stick skillet and brown the pork chops on both sides. Transfer to the slow cooker.

Top with onions, peaches, thyme and garlic. Season with salt. Tip in the whisky and cook on medium for 2-3 hours, or until the pork chop is fully cooked. Serve with mashed potatoes if desired.
