2 ripe bananas
300g fresh strawberries
1/4 cup of milk of your choice (Alison used soy)
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp lemon juice
1 Tbs honey
Slice bananas and seal in a freezer bag – try to keep the banana slices flat.
Wash and slice strawberries and place them flat in another freezer bag. Place fruit in the freezer until frozen (approx a couple of hours).
Remove from freezer, place fruit in your blender with all the other ingredients and blend until it takes on the texture of soft-serve ice cream.
Serve immediately with some fresh strawberries, or place in a covered container and store in the freezer until required.
