Elegant timber chairs, lace tablecloths, chandeliers and ever changing artwork give the restaurant a romantic, almost French character. The menu, though, is distinctly Polish, combining traditional home style dishes and homemade cakes with a refined restaurant touch. Freshly made pierogi (traditional half-moon dumplings with a variety of fillings) offer a fine example of Polish cuisine, as do borsch and other earthy, flavoursome offerings like Polish style goose served with pearl barley, pistachio nuts and dill cucumber and carrot with apple salad.
