We cannot wait for metro restrictions to be lifted so can visit the delightful Alex Hotel again.
It's the perfect match. Pat's mouth watering delicious seasonal food and Jackie's effortless and engaging hospitality. To top it off the de lovely accommodation is a must to complete the experience. Also another chance to have more of Pat's delicious food for breakie!
Chef Patrick never disappoints, His use of seasonal local produce is always inventive and surprising and his sauces are plate licking good add Jackie’s selection of beautiful wine and great table service , always wonderful Evening out

We love this place so much that we haven chosen to have our “Melbourne” Wedding here, rescheduled for post COVID. The Food & Wine offered champions and showcases local produce, fresh, zesty and innovative, the ambiance completes what is a venue “Unexpected” to a little country community.
Accommodation is amazing, what better than to have a 5 star meal, coupled by local wines, to only have to walk upstairs and fall asleep.

Excellent food and service
The food, highlighting a lot of local produce is outstanding, always something to drool over. we love the detail put into the presentation of each course and adore the smoking of various dishes. The service has been so friendly but efficient a real nice vibe for this beautifully decorated hotel. A gem in the country a must for anyone to visit.
