About Aquitaine Brasserie
Inspired by L'Aquitaine in South West France, Aquitaine Brasserie on the River Quay brings a touch of French class to Queensland’s thriving South Bank precinct. A venue of contemporary design with high ceilings and glass frontage, Aquitaine offers two spacious levels for both casual dining and special occasions overlooking the Brisbane River to a dazzling city view. Replicating a Farmhouse to Champs Elysees experience, a French inspired menu based on classic recipes is livened by fresh local produce and prepared using modern techniques. Pair French imported wines with an entree of market mushrooms with truffle fried French toast, goat's cheese and yolk before a smoked duck breast main with sticky sweet candied beetroots, smooth raspberry and beetroot puree and a fine hazelnut dukkah.

Pleasant Location
The wine list is fair and reasonable priced and food is limited but good. Fine for a brasserie, but there are better now . Its probably the only outdoor french dining of any note though in Brisbane
