I heard about this place through a friend, also that is also run by the former Doyles executive chef. So I decided to take my wife and 2 young sons for breakfast last Sunday morning.
We were greeted by very friendly staff and felt immediately welcomed. The staff also provided my pregnant wife some lovely soft pillows for her comfort. GREAT!
My wife and I started with 2 lattés both were impeccable with their own distinct latté arts.
Our sons enjoyed a beautiful freshly squeezed juice served in a old school glass mason jar and a very cutely presented milkshake in a glass milk bottle.
My wife's breakfast choice was easily swayed by the scent of truffles in dinning room with a neighbouring table eating a dish of poached eggs, asparagus and a trio of mushrooms with truffle oil and sourdough ( and only$11!!!! )
I however went with the recommendation of the corn fritters by the waiter. He promised me I will not be disappointed..... Boy was he right!
A masterfully plated and balanced flavoured dish of corn fritters, poached eggs, bacon, avocado and tomato relish. A great suggestion!
We helped our sons with their breakfasts "lucky us" they had the ricotta pancakes with caramelised banana and the brioche French toast with seasonal berries. (Both I'd go back for in a heartbeat)
We washed it all down with 2 of the fullest flavoured frappes I've tasted. the mango was like biting into a juicy piece of fruit. A refreshing way to finish a meal.
I regret I left no space for lunch the menu and food looked incredible.
For first time customers It was the most pleasant breakfast experience my family and I have experienced.
A real gem in the west.
Outstanding menu.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Family friendly.
The best part. While leaving with a full stomach I did also a full wallet.
The tastiest and best value for money breakfast.
EVER!

For someone who lives in North Rocks I'm not short of cafés and Campos coffee...
Just no where near this calibre.

A lovely and cosy local café. Welcoming staff and we were particularly well looked after by a lovely young man named Paul. A great cup of Campos coffee to start our day only to be outdone by marvellous breakfast! There were so many tempting options that we decided to get a breakfast each and a third to share! I'll definitely recommend the corn fritters which came with a perfectly poached egg and a delicious tomato relish.
Too many good things to list.
GREAT service!
GREAT food!
EXTREMELY GOOD VALUE!
MUST TRY!
