A short stroll from Sydney Park, residing along Mitchell Road is Blackbird & Co café and restaurant. A stunning interior is created with aflood of natural light spilling through wide front windows, where pendant Edison globe lighting, timber tables and crisp white walls framed with greenery make for an ideal venue for a special celebration. Just as much thought and detail has been put into the menu with Mod Oz breakfast delights of buckwheat pancakes with roasted walnuts, miso caramel and coffee mascarpone, whilst the lunch crowd may enjoy crispy skin chicken and Spring salad of watercress, nuts, sesame, mint and lime ginger dressing. For a divine dinner outing, begin with an entrée of steamed pork buns before enjoying a succulent grass fed rib eye with wasabi butter and kimchi apple.

As an avid visitor of this cafe I must vouch for its sparkling reputation amongst our local community. The cafe seems to always attract familiar faces that live in the area which creates a family and community feel for everyone to enjoy. Aside from the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the cafe excels in all departments from back of house to front of house. The food is beautifully presented, always delivered in a timely manner and most importantly....delicious! The cafe is opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner and for every menu there is a great range of selections to choose from, the kitchen team are always improving the menu and it is clear that a huge deal of care goes into their food which is a wonderful thing to see. Moving on from Blackbird & Co’s food, the next crucial component to a successful cafe is of course coffee...and this cafe shines in this department. Every barista is highly skilled and extremely competent in their profession. Their attitude towards their work is a breath of fresh air as the team rustle up some high quality coffee all with smiles on their faces. Take away or sitting in, you will not be disappointed. This attitude and attention to detail is echoed amongst the entire team. The staff management have done a terrific job in finding and managing a group of charismatic, friendly and hard working people. It’s refreshing to see the staff enjoying their jobs, they are all so approachable and I am on a first name basis with many of them as they are with many customers. This extra effort to build rapport with customers is a truly amazing touch and for me shows that the staff are the most genuine and friendly people that want to ensure you leave their cafe happy. Blackbird & Co is a terrific venue and should be very proud of what it has achieved to date. It’s a fantastic spot and everyone should take time to go and visit. Well done guys Paul
One of my favourite
Very nice garden view with friendly staffs. Tried their veggie variations such as Corn on the cob or Shitake and taro spring rolls. One of my favourite restaurant. Can't ask for more.

One of the best cafes in Sydney
A good place to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Strongly recommended for anyone who lives in the inner-west or anyone looking to try something new. Breakfast of Champions is strongly recommended as a breakfast option, while for lunch you should try the Wagyu beef burger with chips. Steak with garlic butter is the perfect way to cap off a long day.

Best food, best service
One of our family’s favorite restaurants in Sydney. Outstanding service and food was so great. Love their fruit juices as well. The owners are lovely couple and their staff are also fantastic. Highly recommended!!!

Babyshower
I hosted my sister's baby shower here, we had 16 guest and there was plenty of room. The food was amazing and came out quick - I was able to organise with the owner to pre order the food in order to not waste any time. The food was amazing! Waiters were very tentative with us. I highly recommend for for any occasion
Excellent venue for large group parties and everyday hangout
A few months back - we held a birthday party for our son with a crowd of 35 ppl... blackbird gave us a private room allowing to do our own decoration at minimal cost. Drinks n food were great given that all food came out in a timely order and nothing was bad!!! Every guest found her meal being tasty ... the store owner and the store manager were extremely helpful in assisting us with the event organisation as well. Such a nice place for every occasion!!!

We recently enjoyed a delicious dinner at this cafe This cafe has a fabulous vibe! Everything comes together perfectly ; location, space, style, ambience, service and the menu. We had the salmon and the crispy skin chicken , it was amazing. Also highly recommend the coconut sago dessert ..just YUM! We will definitely visit again!!!

One of the best cafes in Sydney with the most amazing staff. We've been going to Blackbird & Co from day 1 and not only do they have the best food but the best staff and service you will find in Sydney. . Their food is amazing and great value for money. The Bacon and Egg Banh mi and salted Caramel Donuts is ridiculous amazing.and definitely a must try. The staff are always welcoming and always up for a chat. Love coming in or even just walking past and seeing them wave or yell out hello. Their service is above the rest. I have never had to wait long for my order even on the most busiest days. I also had my best friends baby shower at Blackbird and having worked in the Events industry for the last three years I cannot recommend a better venue than Blackbird & Co. Chau who owns Blacbirkd & Co along with her husband was an absolute gem to work with. She bent over backwards to help me get everything together for the baby shower. She was flexible and was willing to do anything to make it a great day and within the budget that I had. She event provided vases of flowers for the center pieces as a gift for the baby shower which was the absolutely lovely. From my first meeting with Chau right through to the end of the baby shower it was A grade service and made the baby shower an amazing day. All my guest were amazed at how incredibly good the food was and what a great venue it was to have the baby shower Chau and her team is the epitome of great Customer Service and catering to their clients needs and i would not hesitate to recommend them to people who need a great place to hold an event. Blackbird & Co is a one of a kind where you will never be disappointed!
