This warm and intimate restaurant and bar hides in a subterranean sandstone cellar in the back streets of the eastern suburbs, where the walls are covered with racks of wine and people are united for a special moment in time in a unique atmosphere. With a name meaning ‘fine wine’ expect to sample glasses like Fritz Haag Riesling to accompany an entrée of seared scallops, crisp pancetta, Jerusalem artichoke purée and truffle; before mains like beef two ways – 18-hour braised cheek, tenderloin, Bearnaise sauce and garlic walnut parsley butter escargot.
