Fettuccine Valentino: chicken, avocado, spring onion, cracked pepper, Napoli sauce, garlic and a touch of cream.
About Borchelli Ristorante
The brick-laden shopfront of Borchelli Ristorante on View Street effortlessly reflects the Victorian-era boomtown characteristic of Bendigo. Checked red and white tablecloths, friendly hospitality and polished cutlery create a refined setting infused with down-to-earth charm in this neighbourhood eatery. Defined as a classical Italian menu, anticipate a Mediterranean twist in entrées of herbed crêpes, spinach, ricotta, pumpkin, spiced seeds and burnt butter sage sauce; moving onto poached rolled pork belly, sun-dried tomato stuffing, mashed potato, apple and walnut salad. Those looking for a pasta fix may be enticed by penne Calabrese with salami, bacon, spring onions, olives, chilli, garlic and Napoli; finish indulgently with a dessert of chocolate jaffa mousse, honeycomb and berries.

Going to the theatre across the road and had very good pasta. Fast and cheap!
Passionate and informed service made our meal that bit more special. Local ingredients and local wines we've come to expect, but at Borchelli, the chefs have excelled with imaginative dishes that demand a return visit to explore the balance of the menu.
Having spent time in Italy last year, this place takes me back to my favourite country but at the same time is has its'own personality and ambience. The staff are consistent with their excellent service, the food has never disappointed and the location is superb. The atmosphere lens itself to your occasion: sidewalk dining, intimate but casual downstairs area, or the privacy of upstairs dining. I can't think of a better reflection of Bendigo food and service in the expanding Arts precinct.
RELAXING PLACE, GREAT ATMOSPHERE , YUMMY FOOD
