About Brighton the Corner
Tucked away on Petersham’s quiet, leafy Palace Street, Brighton the Corner is more than just a café – it’s a welcoming haven where community, creativity and comfort intertwine. For six years, this cosy corner café has been a cherished spot for locals seeking exceptional food and warm, friendly service; from young artists, painters and dancers to longtime locals, students and young families, this venue has become deeply embedded in the lives of its diverse patrons. From a menu celebrating wholesome, locally sourced seasonal ingredients, delve into a breaky bowl of roasted sweet potato, kale, spinach, snow peas, cherry tomatoes, broccolini, poached eggs, toasted almonds and creamy hummus; the lunch crowd enjoys a Wagyu steak sandwich with caramelised onion, relish, rocket, aioli and chips.

Relaxing space, Great staff and Consistently tasty food and coffee!
Petersham has a lot of cafes, but Brighton on the Corner is my favourite. Wide range of options for all tastes and moods. The staff are really friendly, and the atmosphere is always relaxing and welcoming. Coffee and food is consistently great. They also have some doughnuts at the counter that are simple but super tasty - not over-engineered like many doughnut specialty places.
Their Waygu steak sandwich is so tender...
