About Catalina
Set on the waterfront in Rose Bay, Catalina on Lyne Park is an Australian culinary icon. Owned and operated for more than 30 years by the McMahon family, this Sydney restaurant has built a reputation for its effortless luxury and uniquely Australian approach to dining. With sweeping views of the harbour, this is a destination synonymous with chic coastal style where every table has a stunning view; settle in with an entrée of pan-seared scallops, confit garlic aioli and chimichurri. For the main, delve into smoked Glacier 51 toothfish, spanner crab roulade, silverbeet, shallots, wholegrain mustard and shellfish consommé, or beef tenderloin, mushroom purée, pommes Dauphine, pickled shimeji, soy and shiitake jus. Indulge your sweet tooth with classic lemon tart and raspberries to finish.

With an uninterrupted 180 degree Sydney Harbour view, the versatile layout of the restaurant lends itself to exclusive use for wedding receptions, personal, corporate and other events, including cocktail parties (up to 250); sit down dinner (up to 150 or 130 with dance floor); less formal ‘Travelling entrée” format, followed by sit down mains and desserts.

Our friends and ourselves have been dining at Catalina since 1994 and have shared many wonderful days and nights celebrating a variety of events in our lives. Your waitstaff are superb We have always loved the way we are treated in your restaurant – it is consistently good. We have always loved the food – consistently terrific. We love the way that no request – no matter how weird are met with a cheery response and effortlessly accommodated. We have always just loved Catalina.
