Iconic Centrepoint Cafe on Victoria Street in Taree is a neighbourhood spot with real food style. Located in Centrepoint Arcade, this café adopts sustainability and practices to ensure a negligible impact on the environment, right down to recycled timber tabletops and reusable coffee cups. Café waste is used for compost by the Taree Community Garden instead of going to a landfill and all produce is sourced within a 160 km radius, such as Rudi’s bacon and Hidden Valley free range eggs. Tuck into a breakfast plate of mushroom bruschetta, basil pesto, cherry tomatoes and Danish feta on char-grilled pane di casa; or be tempted by lunch options like a Reuben sandwich on lightly toasted sourdough, housemade sauerkraut, corned beef, Russian dressing, melted Swiss cheese and crisps on the side.
