About Clapham Junction Wine Bar

Drop by Clapham Junction Wine Bar on Royal Parade in Banyo, for cheese and charcuterie and ever-changing tapas plates, enjoyed in vintage surrounds. This chic wine bar, reminiscent of railway refreshment rooms, welcomes guests through the bright and cheery red door to perch at the bar on rustic stools and sip from a boutique list of international and regional wines, as well as killer cocktails. Choose to graze on prosciutto crudo, pickles, Dijon and baguette croutons, or fish nori tart - coconut rice, crispy fish bites, avocado and furikake; perhaps share calabrese picante - ground pork seasoned with Calabrian chilli, toasted fennel seeds, garlic and black pepper, smoked for five hours. Vegetarians may opt for buttered broccoli with bang bang sauce, toasted sesame seeds and spring onion.

What a little gem !
Great suburban find, directly opposite the Banya train station. Casual with a touch of class, dined on tapas and each dish was delightful and well thought about. Think smoked eggplant, waffle fries, calamari and pulled lamb on flatbread.
