About Cobblestone Lane

Charm and character await at Cobblestone Lane on George Street in Bathurst. Step back to yesteryear at this elegant restaurant, housed in the heritage-listed former Webb & Co department store built in 1863 and still retaining original features, as well as an open kitchen giving a glimpse of the talented culinary team. A welcoming vibe of exposed brick and timber floors sets an ambience ideal for romantic dinners, or catch-ups with family from a European and Asian-inspired menu. Grilled halloumi, charred beetroot, radicchio and a balsamic reduction set the mood for a memorable dinner, followed by Chef’s cut of beef, garlic prawns, confit potatoes and chimichurri, or chicken, prawn and chorizo jambalaya with Creole butter. Finish decadently with sticky date pudding and butterscotch sauce.

Relaxing white linen table service with fresh seasonal tasty food local or visitor it's a must !

BathurstFolks

Having just moved from Canberra, Cobblestone Lane came highly recommended by the locals. Fresh high quality produce with well considered recipes makes for a very pleasurable eating experience. The elegant setting respects it's heritage. Add a respectable wine list and friendly service and it's the complete package. There is clearly pride in the work done here. Portion sizes were very good and everything was cooked to perfection. Recipes balanced flavours with care and you get vegetables with your meal, not as an "extra" (a true pet hate of ours). We did order extra greens, which were perfect, but could have lived without them. And dessert..? You must share the dessert platter with someone you love. Just to show them that you do! Cobblestone Lane is definitely our favorite pace to eat in Bathurst. If you're local, or visiting, I confidently recommend it to you.
