Had a magnificent chefs menu experience. It was utterly delicious and interestining. Divine flavours throughout the courses. We washed it down with their excellent Pino Gris. We had immaculate service so cannot fault anything. Warmly recommend it. We also did a pizza take away for our dinner. Superb pizza.

My wife and I have dined at Fodder on a number of occasions together and with friends. At all times the meals have been simple with use of local ingredients and middle eastern spices,well presented and outstanding flavours. The staff are well informed and friendly. Gorgeous, fresh food. The best salad my husband and I have ever had - hints of fennel and crispy bread topping and crumbled fetta - Mmmmm. Strawberries picked from the garden that morning and divine pizzas, perfectly cooked with a dusting of semolina on the bases - so much more than expected. My advice? Embrace the woodfired oven here as you would not if you encountered one in the suburbs - these guys really know how to use it!!
Wow...what a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended if you you happen to be in the Coonawarra area for lunch. Creative well thought out dishes and excellent service. Head and shoulders above anything else we could find in the area during our stay.
