It was great walking into the café, friendly staff and impressively quick service. Looking around it had a nice café feel to it, big open window with million dollar view overlooking the Portland harbour. Ambient interior with low volume background music to cover the conversations had around the café. Food came out promptly. Presentation of food was simple but not over the top for lunch. Two items where ordered; Chicken oregano BLT in grilled sour dough, served with chunky chips and salad and a Pumpkin and fetta risotto. The BLT for $16 was great value for money, a little too big for lunch but still impressive. And for $19 the Pumpkin and fetta risotto let this beautifully set out café down. The flavour of the pumpkin was a little too strong and over powering the rest of the delicate flavours of fetta, leek and herbs and could have used a little more seasoning. Maybe more risotto and less pumpkin would have made this dish a star attraction for this café. Overall we still walked out happy and enjoyed the experience we had at Edward's Café. Thanks for the great service. Thanks, thefoodguy
