About Eighty/Twenty Food

Food as fuel is what you’ll find at EightyTwenty Food on Lonsdale Street in Braddon. This locally-loved café believes everybody benefits from clean, natural and unprocessed wholefoods; drop by for a coffee under market umbrellas in the large alfresco area, or dine indoors where a full glass frontage lets in an abundance of natural light and a sleek décor beckons. Expect real, healthy, honest and delicious meals, as well as nutrient-packed smoothies and housemade raw desserts; think plates like scrambled herbed eggs and smoky, meaty beans, with sourdough, or garlic and thyme mushrooms, avocado, feta, zucchini, snow peas, basil oil and dukkah on toast. The lunch crowd enjoys grilled lime snapper, garden salad, baby carrots, kale pesto, broccolini and wedges, washed down with a fresh juice.

Really nice spot for breakfast on a sunny morning. Plenty of seating outside under the trees, sufficiently removed from the Lonsdale Street traffic. 80/20 has a limited breakfast menu but offers something for every taste. The coffee is good and there's a good range of healthy, delicious smoothies on offer.
