EXP is an intimate and welcoming space. From the moment we stepped inside we knew we were in good hands. The floor team are friendly, knowledgeable, fun and professional.
The food came out at a perfect pace, and the dishes are the work of a team of visionaries. It's exciting and fresh and delivered to you with a little bit of theatre.
I honestly think this is one of the best dining experiences in NSW, so many places in the Hunter rest on their laurels and don't push the envelope (read; a little bit boring), but EXP is a youthful produce-forward vibe brought to you with genuine enthusiasm that is absolutely contagious.
If you only have the opportunity to eat dinner at one place in the Hunter Valley, this should be your first choice.
