After a breath of new life, the Glasshouse Tavern on Reed Street has been transformed into a stylish family-friendly venue in the heart of the vibrant Glasshouse Mountains township. The old tavern has been revitalised into a welcoming space with awesome food and a country pub vibe with hanging greenery, plush carpet and cosy table settings, ideal for lingering over a meal with family and friends. Enjoy a leisurely breaky of a smoked salmon tostada with cream cheese, smashed avocado and a poached egg; or join the lively later crowd for apple smoked pulled pork sliders, slaw and hickory BBQ sauce, on a brioche bun. Don’t go past slow-cooked smoked Memphis beef short ribs for the main, with BBQ chipotle sauce and sides of onion rings and charred corn, washed down with an ice-cold beer.
