Renovated with an eye to historical accuracy, Harts Pub on the corner of Gloucester and Essex Streets in The Rocks, is proud of its reputation as one of Australia’s iconic beer venues. With 12 rotating taps and a food menu showcasing awesome burgers and classic pub meals, there is something for everyone. One of the original venues on Sydney’s craft beer scene, Harts has been championing an all-Aussie Indie beer lineup since 2009; pair a glass with Korean fried chicken and hot soy sauce, before devouring a Reuben sandwich with sauerkraut, pastrami, pickles, Swiss cheese and aioli. Mains like Greek lamb skewers with salad, pita and tzatziki always hit the mark; or rib eye with baked veggies, cowboy butter and gravy. For a sweet finish, try the choc chip cookie skillet and ice cream.
