About Hentley Farm
A day of decadence in the Barossa Valley may be enjoyed in full with a visit to Hentley Farm, an award-winning establishment in Seppeltsfield. Spoiling guests with picturesque views, Hentley Farm’s interior reflects the landscape, built with charming stone walls and timber logs contrasted by glossy furnishings and a sleek bar holding a promise of Hentley Farm wine. With a choice of dining experiences, guests are treated to a surprise selection of dishes every day - each filled with an elegant combination of regional ingredients, with preference for items wild grown on the estate, caught in nearby waterways and grown in the restaurant’s own garden. Think starters like pine mushrooms from Mount Crawford, Parmesan, hazelnut and foraged flowers; or delve into kingfish, sesame and spring onion.

Excellent. Beautiful old farm shed. Best ever had. Thump up. Go back again.
Hentley Farm Restaurant.
What an Amazing Establishment, Part of the décor is in a very Rustic building stone walls timber log beams so inviting. Then we were taken to the New Modern part of the establishment where we dined, very sleek ,glass walls very spacious. We felt as though we were almost dining Al Fresco the view quite stunning, ofcourse it was cosy warm inside on the Winters day we were there. The Discovery menu is Fantastic we had the 7 course Degustation Journey/Experience. Wow it was just Superb. Not knowing what was to come next made it so very very Exciting!! The other Highlight was a number of Chefs deliver the Dishes to your table. The Chefs told us all about each dish as it was presented. What we loved was the Chef's appeared to enjoy communicating with the Customers, just as much as the Customers did with them. It has to be the Most Amazing Restaurant that we have had the Good Fortune to Dine in. If you have not been there as yet you are missing out on an Unforgettable Experience. Well done to all involved. We look forward to our next visit.
Oops I just did my Review on this Amazing Hentley Farm. I did make a mistake when I commented on the Superb Establishment by leaving 2 question marks should have been 2 Exclamations marks! !!
What an Amazing Experience . The Discovery degustation Menu is out of this World!! Seven Courses each course was Beautifully presented plus not knowing in advance what was to come next made it so Exciting. The Staff are so Professional at the same time Friendly. Something so different that I have never Experienced before a number of theChefs brought the dishes to the tables to give a full description of each course they appeared to enjoy this contact with their customers as much as the customers did . JustFabulous . The Venue isSupurb ?? I hope to go back again soon. Well done to all involved .DELICIOUS!!
Was recently taken here for my birthday for the Discovery degustation menu with matching wines. While I dont want to give away any spoilers, it is up there with one of the best meals I have ever had. Each course and wine was explained by either the waitng staff or by the chefs, which gives a greater dpeth of understanding of each course. The setting complents the whole experience and is beautiful in its simplicity. If you get there a bit early for your booking, pop into the celler door for a sneaky wine tasting before hand, where the staff are equally as passionate about the wines.
Excellent creative non-boring food. I am not spoiling details and surprises for those who are still planning to go. I would strongly recommend to dine there if in the Barossa Valley: wonderful experience: food, chef, setting, service and even price is reasonable. Not sure I'd go with matching wines, after all day tasting in the valley...just pick a bottle and enjoy the food!
