Part of the Rest Point Motor Inn in Glen Innes, the award-winning Hereford Steakhouse on Church Street serves up some of the finest steaks in New South Wales countryside. Open to the public, the restaurant greets you with friendly staff, a well-stocked bar and a simply, yet smartly dressed dining room warmed in Winter by a gas log fire. The restaurant's reputation is based primarily on its succulent steaks, from a tender rib fillet to a flavoursome Porterhouse, all sourced locally and aged in-house with your choice of sauce. For those less inclined to red meat, there are other tasty options such as creamy mixed seafood fettuccine and oven-baked chicken breast on a bed of soba noodles and vegetable stir fry; just be sure to save room for raspberry and white chocolate panna cotta.

I have eaten here on several occasions and I have to say that the food at the steakhouse is amazing! I always have steak, but they have plenty of other options for non steak eaters and non carnivores! friendly staff, especially the manager Brian, the friendly wait staff and the head chef Andrew are always a pleasure to deal with. Cant wait to eat there again
