About Heritage Estate Winery Restaurant

Established in 1990, Heritage Estate Wines on Granite Belt Drive in Cottonvale is a destination-worthy venue for tasting cool climate wines, delving into an eight-course Black Tie degustation menu and staying over. Nestled on a 27-acre vineyard with a 1946 apple store converted into a cellar door, this restaurant offers elegant dining options from degustation to a Vine + Dine Journey lunch, alongside wine flights and estate fireplaces. Delve into dishes of seared scallops on Melba toast, with harissa mayonnaise and chorizo crumb, or rock oysters, wasabi mayo and coriander; before slow-braised Shiraz and juniper Angus beef cheek, on roasted onion purée, collard greens and garlic pudding. Finish indulgently with a dessert of bush lemon curd on a coconut macadamia base with a meringue topper.

VINE+DINE JOURNEY
===================
Heritage Estate's gourmet "Vine+Dine Journey" is a unique attraction in QLD. It starts with a Vineyard Walk & Talk, then in the winery, a Sommelier Wine Discussion, and finally, the chef explains the providence of the produce. Allow 1.5 hours to experience and delight your senses with our 5-dish/wine experience presented Thursday to Monday; on the hour. In the vineyard our viticulturist shows the vines in action. Smell the beautiful roses at the end of the rows. Learn about pruning, the importance of terroir (soil), and climate issues. Inside, the soaring ceilings, huge fires, and a brilliant cellar door is the setting. Learn about the winery antiques. The sommelier will explain the way the wines were made. The international chef prepares fresh seafood, game meats and local produce. The aromas and flavours will create a memorable experience and enhance your understanding of the nuances of pairing food and wine.

This is a special atmosphere with experiences beyond cellar doors. Our experiences are many fold, from classes in cheese & bread making, painting, glass painting and resin art to the gourmet food / wine experiences that are beyond just a meal. We have our sommelier talk to every diner, and our international chef explain the local produce and dishes, then finally the viticulturist takes our diners to the vineyard to complete the agritourism experience. We use special Nez du Vin kits in our talks. We sponsor the arts and hold concerts here that vary from musicians renowned for creating jazz music out of carrots, or have backed up famous artists like the Bee Gees, to workshops in Ukulele playing with free concerts and jam sessions.
