About Jasmin Indian Restaurant
A few words from Jasmin Indian Restaurant
Punjabi Lamb Tandoor Cutlets: lamb cutlets marinated in yoghurt, coriander, chilli and Mrs Singh's own blend of curry powder, then twice-baked in the tandoor.
Nestled away in a cosy but refined mid-city basement in Hindmarsh Square is Adelaide's Jasmin Indian Restaurant. This intimate space is furnished with dark timber and Indian accessories, making it the perfect spot to enjoy authentic North Indian cuisine prepared with the freshest spices and ingredients. Family-owned and operated you'll even find 90-year-old Mrs Singh in the kitchen every day overseeing dishes like a platter of blue cheese naan, samosa, fish and chicken tikka and vegetable pakoras to start an exotic feast. Don't go past local favourite hot and spicy beef vindaloo, with sides of steamed rice and raita; or delve into King prawn curry, with lemongrass, basil, ginger and coconut. Vegetarians opt for tarka dhal – lentils in thick gravy, flavoured with onion, ginger and garlic.

Fantastic food, wine, and atmosphere.
Good curries, but too expensive for what you get. Wine list was appalling - plenty of plonk or exorbitantly expensive.
