This Gold Coast eatery began life as a night market stall, progressing to a Modern Asian venue in the back streets of the Gold Coast showcasing local produce, including free-range eggs and non-pesticide vegetables. A rustic wooden façade greets guests inviting them into a warm and welcoming dining space to sample sake and wine at leisure; perhaps start a culinary adventure with steamed prawn, pork and leek gyoza, or crunchy karaage chicken. Move on to a tempura deep-fried bug bao, with rocket, eshalots and chipotle mayonnaise, or a deep-fried crumbed chicken cutlet, with Japanese-style curry and steamed rice.
